Across-border investment
and financial advisory platform

DealGlobe is fintech’s first cross-border M&A deals platform, providing investment and buy-side & sellside financial advisory services. The app connects businesses seeking investment and partnership opportunities, bridging the gap between Chinese and European markets involved in business spanning the entire globe.

Sneak peek into the project

The client needed a tool capable of big-data analytics and ensuring that the data behind the service is properly and clearly presented within the web interface.

In order to quickly gather insights about the markets and the potential users’ needs, we followed the progression of iteration results to react quickly. We designed the product from scratch, including the app’s road map and architecture, custom dashboard, and UX.

As a result of our cooperation was a working prototype, ready to be demoed to investors and first clients. After the release, DealGlobe became a leading advisor and investor in the fintech industry. A year later they announced a £1 million worth of Angel funds to help further the company’s development and growth.

Great product and design thinking

Monterail provided some great product and design thinking and then built us a solid MVP. It was very useful to be working with someone who would bring their own ideas to the table and challenge our thinking rather than just building to a specification.

A finance management
platform for data visualization

CashDeck is a personal wealth management tool for accountants, financial planners, and mortgage brokers. With more than 4.4 million accounts across Australia and New Zealand, they needed a fully integrated way to view all of their assets such as bank accounts, loans, mortgages, shares, superannuation, and credit cards.

Sneak peek into the project

The app had to be functional both for financial asset owners and advisors. More so, it had to be ready for future updates.

We decided to wrap all services in a core UI and extract it to a shared gem so that the upcoming updates for both the dashboard and push services would happen seamlessly and in a coordinated way. For data visualization and illustrating fluctuations, we decided to choose D3.

The result of the development process is a completely secure, fully encrypted financial platform that serves as a meta-dashboard for managing financial accounts. The size and weight of the financial market it serves proves the success of CashDeck, making it a staple tool for many of Australia’s largest financial institutions, including major banks.

A community-focused
platform for NFT fans

Our client is a “Collect-2-Earn” platform that helps artists, celebrities, and brands enter the NFT space. They’ve expanded their network and ways of bringing value to the community. Their product range include unique drops of collectibles, an advertising billboard, and a community-focused platform.

Sneak peek into the project

The project included tackling the current challenges and limitations of the NFT market that was really fragmented. The client came to us with a multi-layered plan that started with creating dedicated websites for releasing limited collections of NFTs.

The new designs of the social application were ready, however the client needed Vue.js experts to build a highly interactive application, with the smart contract to enable staking.

We started the cooperation from a thorough understanding of the business model and most important aspects of web3 development. During our 6-month long cooperation, the client received four products: two dedicated websites for unique NFT drops, the first NFT curated billboard, and community-focused platform for fans.

A data-focused investment
platform that removes bias

Uncap - Unconventional Capital is bringing investment opportunities to early-stage companies in Sub-saharan Africa by connecting investors with local business owners. To make sure that the process of financing is as fair as possible, they leverage a unique, data-based process of screening applicants.

Sneak peek into the project

Uncap had an expertly-documented idea for the project that outlined the rules and requirements of processing the applications, choosing the most promising ones, applying data-focused screening, and for managing the investment rounds (both from the investor and the business-owner perspective).

We conducted a workshop that allowed us to define what exactly should be done in the first place and establish the milestones for the project. During the development process, we discovered edge cases and restraints that allowed us to finetune the product. After 8 months, Uncap received a product that was ready to collect and process funding applications. Using the platform, Uncap was able to secure over 4,500 applications in the first round of funding. Currently, they’re getting ready to release another round of application collection.

Comprehensive platform

We worked with Monterail to develop a comprehensive platform that powers the entirety of Uncap’s operations — from the application process, through the evaluation and due diligence to portfolio support & performance monitoring.

A non-profit fundraising
platform

GiveDirectly is the largest nonprofit that lets donors send money directly to the people most affected by poverty. The recipients can then choose for themselves how to spend that money. So far, over 300 million dollars have been sent into the hands of over 700,000 people in need.

Sneak peek into the project

The goal of the project was to increase the conversion rate by creating an easy, intuitive, mobile-friendly experience for donors interested in sending money directly to specific causes.

We needed to create a seamless user experience that would make it simple to make a donation from any device, using various payment methods including credit cards, checks, and cryptocurrencies.

Another goal was improving accessibility - the platform had to be accessible from mobile, tablet, and desktop devices, and all major browsers. To achieve the project goals quickly and effectively, we chose Vue.js for frontend development as the client’s engineering team was already familiar with Vue.

Fundraising platform

After a rigorous vetting process we choose Monterail as our implementation partner for our new donate experience. We were impressed by their detailed scoping and estimation process which ultimately led to the project being completed under budget. Monterail provided both high-quality engineering and project management throughout the project. We were particularly pleased by their focus on product reliability and enthusiasm in writing exhaustive automated tests. They have been a valued partner who we continue to work with both for product maintenance and new projects.

A web application for leading
cryptocurrency exchange

ZebPay is one of the fastest-growing and most popular cryptocurrency exchanges, headquartered in Singapore. With an established presence and 5+ million users in India, Australia, and Singapore, the company continues rapid expansion across the continents.

Sneak peek into the project

With the rapidly growing number of transactions, the number of users, and the ever-changing price of cryptocurrencies, the team at ZebPay had to ensure that their web application would be performing flawlessly and can handle all of these.

In the initial stage of this project, our teams worked closely and focused on preparing documentation that could be then used to build new features and revamp the web application.

The result of our collaboration is a rebuilt application written in React. The product has a modern look and feel, with its main goal of increasing the number of ZebPay users who access their wallets this way. The new version was successfully launched in November 2022.

We’re really happy with the code’s quality that has been given to us. At ZebPay, the goal is to hire A+ people, and we don’t want to compromise on quality when we hire developers, so the process usually takes some time.
