The biggest challenge was to distill the single most important aspect of the application—the reason for the users to come back over and over again. Our client had a grand vision of a powerful platform that could do all sorts of things and we were enamoured by it, but we new that the story needs to be simple. Users must be able to describe the purpose in one sentence.

Outcome

Presented data provides information about water market fluctuations. In a glimpse, Brodick customers can understand what’s their current position on the market and its dynamic.

A 4-year journey to
command line mastery

Power of the users was our main concern from the very beginning of this 4-year project. We knew that our future users were professionals working in command line in their day-to-day work. We strived to achieve a feeling of total control when investigating real-time streams of data.

Outcome

Now all platform’s clients can monitor their networks in a specified time period. They can easily
detect anomalies in those networks and run their own investigation to solve the problem. No discrepancy will stay unnoticed.

An enterprise web application for network and firewall management. It allows efficient monitoring and keeping networks secure.

Simplicity in complexity:
navigating 600 nodes
with ease

When dealing with complex issues, it’s a natural impulse for us to direct our efforts towards simplicity. Displaying and managing networks of around 600 nodes is not an easy feat and I believe we did a pretty good job. We knew that having an overview of the whole network and super simple ways of narrowing down this view is of utmost importance.

Outcome

The interactive circle graph presents dependencies between traffic host and gives an overview
on the whole network. Users can isolate traffic hosts and dive into details of each server. Such visualization makes their work much easier and more efficient.
